Swimmers Staying Focused entering Last Month of Season

Rebecca Coan broke the last school record not held by herself Saturday as Los Osos Swimming continues it’s impressive season.

In a meet of many swimmers’ personal bests, Rebecca’s swim in the 100 breaststroke to break Chelsea Parks’ two year old record proved the swim of the day. Coan now holds every singular event record in addition to being a part of all three relay records at Los Osos. However, it was her little brother, Kyle, that took home Most Outstanding Swimmer Award for the Mt. SAC Meet of Champions for his two event victories. Kyle Coan also anchored the 400 Free Relay (led by brother Kevin) that gave Division 1 power Loyola a scare, before finishing 2nd despite an automatic CIF qualifying time. The boys now put up their undefeated league record while the girls look to get back into the title run as the swim team hosts Upland this Thursday. Don’t miss out as there are only two meets left before Baseline League Finals!
